Matthew Sabatella & the RSB at Anne Kolb Nature Center
Mar 24 –
This concert is part of the Music Club of Hollywood's "Music in the Mangrove" free community concert series. It takes place inside Mangrove Hall at Anne Kolb Nature Center.
With vocals, guitar, fiddle, banjo, and bass fiddle, Matthew Sabatella and the Rambling String Band connect people with music that is woven into the fabric of the United States. Since before the United States declared independence, songs, instruments, and musical styles were carried to the New World. As people from different backgrounds interacted with each other, unique new forms of music emerged that could only have been born in this nation of immigrants. Matthew Sabatella and the Rambling String Band take the audience on a journey that connects traditional folk songs, spirituals, work songs, fiddle tunes, Appalachian music, ragtime, blues, jazz, old-time country, bluegrass, and early rock and roll.
