Dear Folk Community:
Broward Folk Club’s annual membership year will be coming to a close on September 30th. So… we decided to THROW A PARTY for the folk community… and YOU are invited! This event will combine our monthly Song Swap with our annual Membership Drive.
Effective September 30th, 2017, ALL memberships in Broward Folk Club will expire! If you are a current member, now is the time to renew! If you are new to the Broward Folk Club, now is a great time to join. Please come out, join the party, and support the Broward Folk Club. Membership DOES have its rewards. Membership means you get discounts to our monthly concert series as well as discounted tickets for the 2018 South Florida Folk Festival.
This party is FREE to all renewing members. (If you choose not to join, that’s okay… all are welcome to celebrate with us. There will be a $5 fee for non-members to help defray the costs of the event.) Info on renewing (or joining BFC for the first time) is at the bottom.

WHEN: Sunday afternoon, September 17th, 2017 from 1pm until the sun sets
WHAT: Broward Folk Club Annual Membership Drive / Event / Party
WHERE: T-Y (Topeekeegee Yugnee) Park – Shelter #2, 3300 N. Park Road, Hollywood, FL – 954-357-8811
DIRECTIONS: From I- 95: Head west on Sheridan Street. Go north (right) on North Park Road. The park’s entrance will be on the right (east) side.
COST: FREE to Members (must either have joined/renewed in advance or must do so at the event). $5.00 for Non-Members (to help defray event costs). (NOTE: Park charges $1.50 gate admission fee per person, children 5 & under free)
FOOD: BFC will provide hot dogs, hamburgers etc. for the grill, paper goods, and drinks. If you want something special, bring it along and throw it on the grill.
BRING: Last name A thru M, please bring a salad or side dish to share. Last name N thru Z, please bring a dessert to share. Bring blankets or chairs to sit on for the music. And of course… guitars… mandolins… banjos… harmonicas… fiddles… and voices!
MEMBERSHIP: $20 per year for Single Membership, $30 per year for Family Membership (2 adults living in the same household, plus children under 18). (Feeling generous? Options to become a Supporting or Sponsoring Member are available)
