The Boca Folk & Bluegrass Club will be holding its next Song Swap & Jam on Sunday, September 6th at 5:00 PM, and as usual it will be a Potluck affair. Our venue is the very comfortable Garden Villas Clubhouse located in the Boca Ridge Condo development. The address is 9400 – Glades Road (between Rte 441 & Lyons), Boca Raton, FL 33428. This event is FREE to the entire community and everybody is welcome. Even if you do not sing or play an instrument we still encourage you to come and enjoy the music as well as the warm & friendly social ambiance of our club. We have some of the highest quality musicians in the South Florida area who will be participating, some coming from as far away as Fort Myers. Bring a Potluck dish to share with 4 other people and please bear in mind that we are an ALCOHOL FREE venue. We are the only Palm Beach County acoustic venue that holds our events on Sundays rather than Saturdays in order to accommodate the many folks in South Florida who are Sabbath observers. Although this is a free event, we ask you to make advance reservations. The purpose of this is twofold. First of all your name has to be on the list in order to gain admittance to the gated community of Boca Ridge. Secondly, we have to have an idea of how many are coming in order to provide adequate seating capacity as well as soft drinks & snacks.
